Cody Wood

Cody Wood founded Quest Exteriors in 2020 after more than 16 years in the insurance industry — including extensive time as a catastrophe and Special Investigations Unit (SIU) adjuster working third-party claims for major carriers such as USAA. He built his reputation understanding claims from both sides of the table.

After watching the insurance industry shift toward photo-driven inspections and increasingly limited field investigations, Cody launched Quest Exteriors with a mission to bring technical expertise, transparency, and real-world construction knowledge back into the claims process. His background lets him bridge the gap between property owners, contractors, engineers, and insurance carriers — often resolving disputes involving complicated roofing systems, cosmetic exclusions, manufacturer defects, specialty wall panels, ACM systems, and large-scale commercial losses.

Under Cody's leadership, Quest Exteriors has become known for its detail-oriented approach to estimating, supplementing, and project management. He frequently works directly alongside adjusters during inspections, ensuring losses are documented accurately and fairly while reducing unnecessary claim inflation and scope disputes. His expertise spans steep-slope roofing, commercial TPO and retrofit systems, metal roofing assemblies, and high-value exterior restoration projects.

Cody is recognized for his entrepreneurial mindset, operational leadership, and ability to scale teams in demanding, high-pressure environments. He has developed compensation systems, project workflows, and field strategies designed to improve accountability, production efficiency, and long-term business sustainability.
